Well, it's time. I originally started this blog as a way to channel my surf obsession, and I think it has run its course (the blog, not my surf obsession). Nowadays I'm more into reading all of the great surf blogs that are still vital, posting interesting bits consistently. I have really enjoyed sharing the stuff I'm into, and I appreciate everyone who has stopped by to check in.
I'll still be reading my favorite surf blogs, commenting here and there. I'm always reachable at our shop, and for those interested, you can check out my other blog here.
Thanks to all, and I wish you the best in 2009. Happy surfing and all the other stuff you like to do. This has been a good time.
Take care,
jb

yours was one of the first blogs i linked to last year when i started getting interested in surf related blog stuff.will miss your stuff. thanks for being{i think} the first person kind enough to link to mine. good luck with your business.
i suppose it'll happen to each one of us at some point. i've definitely seen my posting schedule shrink from multi-daily to occasionally weekly. when it's my turn to turn the lights out I hope I can muster as much class as you did. if i ever get down your way, i'll make sure to stop in for a glass of halcyon dreams.
Stay in touch.
And into the sunset he rides...
Sea you at thee tee shoppe!

Ridgeback, Ed, Andy,
Thanks to each of you for checking in, for the well wishes, and for the kind words. I appreciate that, and I'll still be reading your blogs regularly.
Cheers,
jb
As The Bear said: "yeah, well, nobody surf blogs forever..."
Gotta make it to the tea shop some date night.
Take it easy mate enjoyed the read maybe see ya around cyberspace.
Thanks, guys. I appreciate it.
I'm too far away to make it to the tea shop!!! And you're the one who single-handedly caused my renewed interest (preoccupation?) with James Brown! Well at least leave yourself the option to come back to the blog. I said I was done, then one day started blogging again. Good luck, JB!
Thanks, Surfsister. What you should do is coax the family into following you to SD for a weekend of surf. Then, you have an excuse for stopping by the shop.
Anyway, if I was indeed the cause for stirring up some renewed passion for James Brown, then my work is done! All us soul/funk heads are forever indebted to that guy and his bands of the 60's & early 70's.
Take care,
jb
All the best. Hope you keep tappin' on those skins:)
Thanks, Patch. I'll be playing until I keel over. Keep your brush in hand.

You kept a nice blog JB, one of my favorites!
The Missus and I have been enjoying our tea selection I picked up last month. I should have got more of the Rooibos Chai, she really likes that one.
Good luck in the new year, we'll see you around.
Gonna miss your blog JB...
I've been having less and less
time posting on Resintint myself
since the start of the new year.
Hope to make it to the shop soon.
Best,
-francisco
Thanks, Francisco. I've thoroughly enjoyed Resintint, and I appreciate you checking in. Hope to see you at the shop sometime. Take care, jb.
